We offer a qualitative range of Carbon Steel Castings that is best
known for its durability. Our range of castings are in compliance
with national and international quality standards. These carbon
steel castings are used in valves, flanges, fittings, or other
pressure-containing parts for high-temperature service. These are
available in various grades of carbon steel such as WCA, WCB, and
WCC, the selection is depend on the design and service conditions,
mechanical properties, and the high temperature characteristics.
These castings are heat treated and furnished, as appropriate to
their design and chemical composition, in the annealed, or
normalized, or normalized and tempered conditions after they have
been allowed to cool below the transformation range. Furnace
temperatures for heat treating are effectively controlled by
pyrometer. Steel castings are adhere to chemical composition and
tensile property requirements, which include tensile strength, yield
strength, elongation, and reduction of area. The surface of our
castings are free of adhering elements such as sand, cracks, hot
tears, and other discontinuities.
Carbon steels contain only carbon as the principal alloying element.
Other elements are present in small quantities, including those
added for deoxidation. Silicon and manganese in cast carbon steels
typically range from 0.25 to about 0.80% Si, and 0.50 to about 1.00%
Mn.
Carbon steels can be classified according to their carbon content
into three broad groups:
Low-carbon steels: < 0.20% C
Medium-carbon steels: 0.20 to 0.50% C
High-carbon steels: > 0.50% C
