Our Dandong Foundry can supply both rough castings and machined grey cast iron exhaust manifolds.

In order to inspect the internal shrinkage of the grey cast iron exhaust manifolds, the inspectors of our foundry use ultrasonic flaw detector for batch inspection. If any defect of shrinkage porosity, sink marks or shrinkage crack is found during the inspection, the grey cast iron exhaust manifolds must be scrapped.

The machining surface must be kept enough machining allowance for the further machining works. The parting line of the grey cast iron exhaust manifolds must be polished cleanly, otherwise it may affect the machining and installation.
