Cast iron bearing housing has the advantages of good wear resistance, good shock absorption, high compressive strength and low cost, but it is less durable than the cast steel bearing housing.

Cast steel bearing housing is durable but expensive. If the cast steel bearing housings are used where they should not be used, other parts may be damaged when problems occur.

Stainless steel bearing housing is used where corrosion occurs.

The general material of bearing housing is HT150, HT200 and 45 steel. Please select the suitable material for your bearing housing according to the different service conditions.
